Is $3,200 to perform roof repairs including ridge shingle replacement, cleaning, and vent trimming a fair price?

My wife and I just bought this house and wanted to get some repairs done before moving in. I hired a roofing company for repairs, but unfortunately, I didn't discuss aesthetics with them. I'm very disappointed with the mismatched new ridge shingles. The old shingles are a gray/brown, and the new ones are a bright gray, which looks like a totally different color, not just due to age. The roof is very prominent on my house, with a steep pitch, a turret, and other visible features. The roofer claimed it would have been difficult or expensive to match the color better, and I naively expected a closer color match to be implied as part of the job. I just want it to look good, and I'm not satisfied with the aesthetic result.
