Is $5,500 to fix slipping tiles on a roof panel a fair price?
Project Details
I'd previously posted about tiles continuously slipping from the roof of my new build, which is about 2 years old. This is happening in the same section of the roof during normal weather conditions, not just storms. I believe it's due to inadequate fixings and am currently going through the NHBC process. The builder, Avant, is being difficult and blaming storm damage. This has happened four times within 18 months. I'm also struggling to find a RICS surveyor. I'm looking for feedback on whether this quote sounds reasonable.
