Is $18,500 to replace roof and some rotten boards a fair price?
Project Details
This company completed a roofing job for me. After the work, I discovered numerous holes in the attic's original OSB, which were not present before. While there are no leaks yet, the work appears careless, with about 10 such spots. The company stated these holes were caused by tying safety ropes. I still owe $1100 from the insurance company and am considering withholding this payment until the issue is resolved, as I have already paid a larger check of $5700 from the insurance. I regret not inspecting the attic sooner.
