Is $1,200 to repair a roof valley and associated decking a fair price?
Project Details
I had a leak that my dad tried to stop over the years by piling on caulk. I was concerned about the way the roof valley was done and that the repair was beyond my comfort level. After the repair, I'm concerned there's still space on the lip of the PVC sheeting and towards the front of where they boxed it in, potentially allowing water to pool or enter the structure. I am personally taking care of painting/wrapping the fascia and hanging new gutters, and painting the exposed wood once it's drier.
