Is $32,000 to install 11.18kW solar panels with grid hookup a fair price?

I’m looking for some feedback on a recent solar quote from a reputable local company in MA (south of Boston). At the end of last year, I bought a 15k Sol-Ark inverter and EG4 battery (14.3 kWh) to capture the federal tax credit before it expired, but I have not installed them yet. I’ve been finishing up a 2nd floor garage addition where the panels would be roof mounted. To prep for solar, I ran two 10ga wires to the utility area of my basement (next to main panel) where the Sol-Ark and battery will go. Both the solar panel and inverter/battery installation costs seem steep, especially the inverter and battery installation, and I need a gut check on whether this is average. I’m open to paying for quality but need a frame of reference. I'm considering if I should try to do it myself, as I have a MA CSL and an electrician friend to wire and pull permits. I understand why companies might not want to deal with customer-purchased equipment, and that's probably a factor on the ESS side of the quote.
