Is $540 to replace a dead SolarEdge power optimizer a fair price?

I have a solar array with 28 SunPower X21 345 panels and 28 SolarEdge P400 power optimizers, and the system is about 10 years old. My original installer was acquired, and the new company charges high service and dispatch fees, making a simple repair very expensive. I recently discovered a dead power optimizer and was quoted $540 for its replacement, which I find excessive given the energy production and the high failure rate of these optimizers. I own the system outright and am exploring options to replace the part myself with a licensed electrician or buy a new one, as the installer's fees outweigh the part cost. I want to ensure SolarEdge monitoring continues and avoid voiding my SunPower panel warranty. I'm open to finding a new, closer solar installer or using my trusted master electrician for ongoing maintenance.
