Is $540 to replace a dead SolarEdge power optimizer a fair price?

I have a solar array with 28 SunPower X21 345 panels and 28 SolarEdge P400 power optimizers. The system is approximately 10 years old. My original installer was acquired, and the new company charges considerably more for service and has a high dispatch fee because they are about an hour away. I recently discovered I have a dead power optimizer. The part is under warranty, but the service fees seem very high, and I'm concerned about the high failure rate of these optimizers. I own the system outright. I'm exploring options to get the part replaced, possibly by personally obtaining a warranty replacement or buying a new one and using my trusted master electrician, to avoid the high service fees. I want to ensure SolarEdge monitoring continues to work and avoid voiding the SunPower panel warranty.
