Is $26,579 to install a 9.9kW solar panel system a fair price?
Project Details
I am trying to determine if solar is worth it and what metrics, ROI savings, etc., other people consider. I am considering solar panels in the next couple of months prior to the 30% federal tax credit going away. My monthly utility bills are $180 on average, although July is closer to $300. My roof was replaced four years ago, and this is my forever home. It seems like it's worth it from a long-term cost savings point of view, but I'm wondering if there are situations where it's not, unless I plan to move.
