Is $37,500 to resurface a wraparound wood deck a fair price?
Project Details
My wraparound wood deck is roughly 25-30 years old, 8 feet above ground, and located by salt water. Last year, I spent $15,000 having the back portion resurfaced with composite boards and rails. I'm now looking to finish the rest next year and am getting quotes. I previously fixed the structure after purchasing the home by adding Simpson fasteners, ledger lock screws, hurricane ties, and post anchors, and it seems to be in good shape. I plan to be here for at least another 10 years or more.
