Is $13,000 to fix buckling LVP floors a fair price?

Project Details

My childhood home suffered a fire caused by a tenant in 2021, requiring a gut rebuild. The company hired took nearly 2 years to complete the work, and I had to constantly follow up due to poor quality issues like uneven drywall and leaks. They even caused more damage initially by incorrectly installing a shower, leading to a leak through the ceiling. The rebuild was completed at the end of 2022, but many problems have arisen since. The most expensive issue recently is buckling LVP floors. I had originally told them not to remove the salvageable wood floors, but they did and installed LVP incorrectly by laying it before installing the cabinetry on top. I've tried contacting the company multiple times about this issue, reaching someone once who asked me to email details, but I haven't received a response to my emails. I'm considering taking them to court or reporting them to the BBB. I also plan to sell the house this year and am considering reaching out to my insurance (Farm Bureau) to see if they can help. I inherited the house at 25 and wasn't living in the state at the time, so I put too much trust in my property manager for hiring the work.
