Is $4,596 to build a custom hood fan cabinet a fair price?
Project Details
I am having a kitchen remodeled, and as part of it, a custom hood fan cabinet is being made. The cost for this cabinet alone is CAD$4,596, which is about 18% of the total cost for cabinets and stone (CAD$25,246). I am questioning if this cost seems excessive. No appliances are included in the cabinet quote; I am putting in a Best hbn1306ss hood fan, which I purchased separately for about CAD$850.
