Is $25,000 to underpinning with 13 piles a fair price?
Project Details
I'm currently in a dispute with a neighbor who removed a retaining wall on my property. This has led to concerns about my foundation, and I'm looking for a solution to avoid future foundation issues, regardless of the wall. I've noticed some settlement on the side where the wall was, but an inspector says the foundation is overall in good shape. I'm trying to understand if underpinning or steel transition piling is a better long-term solution and if the quoted prices for 13 piles seem average. I'm also moving next month but want to ensure the house is stable so I can rent it out after the dispute is resolved.
