Is $4,500 to replace a gas line and find a leak a fair price?
Project Details
I own a 2-family home. A plumber inspected my home and noticed there is a gas leak for the 2nd-floor gas line, which is connected to the stove only. He tried to find the leak but could not find it where it was connected to the stove and meter. I am not sure how long the run is, but it goes up to 3 levels: basement to first and ends at the 2nd floor.
