Is $8,500 to purchase and install a used 16x32 Doughboy above ground pool a fair price?
Project Details
A family friend has to unexpectedly move and is selling their one year old 16x32 Doughboy above ground pool with all the things it came with. I got a quote from a local company to take it down and reinstall it. I will also have to buy a new liner and gaskets. After consulting several area pool companies, I could get a brand new pool (similar and nicer) for about $3-5,000 more (plus installation). Because of this quote, I am now having doubts and wondering if I am being asked to pay too much for the used pool. I need advice on whether this is a good deal.
