Is $2,850 to install a replacement main panel and salt cell for a pool automation system a fair price?
Project Details
I bought my house in Orlando in 2018. It came with a Hayward Pro Logic Automation system, a gas heater, a roof water solar heater, and a waterfall. Since then, I've replaced the pump twice, the salt water cell twice, and the main board once. The wireless controller died, and all LED pool lights have died. A hurricane destroyed the roof, water solar heater, and gas heater. This past weekend, a power surge fried the salt cell connector on both the main panel and the salt cell itself. Everything else on the panel seems to be working, except the salt cell. I'm wondering if it's worth replacing these parts, or if I should downgrade or upgrade to a different system. I only use the automation for turning on the waterfall and checking the pool temperature.
