Is $5,000 to replace a Raypak 266 btu gas pool heater a fair price?
Project Details
I am a new pool owner, and this is my first summer with the pool. My Raypak 266 btu gas heater has stopped working. I've been researching various heating options including electric, gas, and solar, and I'm finding conflicting information. I'm leaning towards solar due to lower running costs, as my previous gas bill was very high, and I anticipate a similar issue with electric. I want to keep my 11,000-gallon pool open in the Spring and Fall, but my family won't get into a cold pool.
