Is $22,000 to fix an in-ground pool a fair price?

Project Details

I bought my home five years ago as a foreclosure. The in-ground pool, measuring 16 feet 6 inches by 32 feet 9 inches, is in complete disrepair. The vinyl liner is completely gone, and it's now a big hole filled with weeds, with groundhog burrows inside the pool area. The condition has only gotten worse since I received this quote. I'm planning to sell the house in about 6 to 8 months because I'll be relocating out of state. I don’t want to take on a lot of debt right now and am seeking advice on whether fixing the pool or filling it in would be a smarter decision for resale value.
