Is $23,500 to install a metal roof a fair price?

My metal roof, which was installed in November 2024 for $23,500, leaked during heavy rain shortly after installation. The leak ruined the new Sheetrock ceiling in my bedroom corner. I had just paid $2,000 to insulate and rerock the ceiling after the old leaky roof damaged it. I called the roofing company, and they sent a field manager. I was initially worried they would try to avoid fixing it, especially since I'm a broke, disabled guy who took out a mortgage for the roof. However, they found the leak, which was a problem with the membrane under the metal, and they fixed it. All my worry was for nothing.
