Is $13,000 to install a metal roof over existing shingles a fair price?
Project Details
My shingles are 20+ years old and have developed a few cracks and a few minor leaks. I have done a little work with metal roofing before and have the tools and DIY handiness to potentially complete this job on my own. I am concerned about the best way to seal around my skylight and whether to strip the old shingles to inspect the boards underneath.
