Is $3,000 to replace a broken skylight a fair price?

My skylight broke (plastic dome). I've also had loose/missing fasteners causing several small intermittent leaks around the house. The cricket around the chimney is also leaking, despite the chimney being half rebuilt by masons who say the cricket needs fixing by a roofer. I'm having difficulty finding roofers in southern VT; many refused, didn't return calls, or ghosted me after measuring. My roof has a high pitch, making DIY difficult.
