Is $6,000 to repair skylights, soffits, and roof penetrations a fair price?

I purchased my home a couple of years ago. When it was inspected, I was told I had about 5-7 years left on the roof. I am planning on selling the house in 2-3 years, so before putting it on the market, I wanted to get a sense for how the roof, skylights, roof penetrations, and soffits are doing. My family and I certainly aren’t rich, so 2 grand is definitely nothing to scoff at. I have never had a roof replaced before. I also live far from family and have very few friends in the area, so a DIY option for the roof seems like less of an option.
