Is $1,000 to pull all attic insulation a fair price?
Project Details
My roof is in horrible condition, and there are a few leaks coming through my ceiling. I am having the roof replaced this weekend. There may be some mild mold from the leaking, and I'm considering having the insulation pulled while the roof is off so I can spray and reinsulate on my own time, and assess if a spray is even needed. I'm looking for feedback on the best way to address the inside of the roof while the top is being done, as I want to do what I can on my own to save money. I have 5 leaks in my house: two in my bathroom, one in the living room, and one by the side door. They all seem to be close to the edge of the roof, where it's hard to get at from the attic.
