Is $2,000 to add critter guard to solar panels and remove pigeon nest a fair price?
Project Details
I have a pigeon nest under a solar panel that is too high to reach. SunRun quoted me over $2,000 to add critter guard and remove the nest, which I think is excessive. My understanding is that I can have clip-on mesh installed by other companies. I've reached out to a few roofer companies, but they haven't been able to help, so I'm looking for a smaller local roofer or another type of professional. I've tried hanging CDs to deter them, but they are still nesting under the panels.
