Is $31,100 to install a solar system with Aptos panels and Enphase battery for energy storage a fair price?
Project Details
I've gotten several quotes (from local installers as well as EnergySage) now and each one is recommending different equipment/setup. I'm in SoCal, not in an area with frequent blackouts but would be under NEM 3.0 metering. Most of the EnergySage quotes are similar and from large installers; the local installers are all recommended by neighbors and have 5 star reviews on Google/Yelp. From my research so far I would prefer a local installer but with REC 460A panels. I'm not sure on battery preference (seems Enphase is better than Tesla but I'm not sure if it's $10k better). I'm also wondering if you know much about NRG. I know it's a larger company (so hopefully more stability long term) and the reviews are decent but not great. The local installers all had great reviews but higher prices.
