Is $38,260 to install an 11 kW solar system with a Tesla Powerwall 3 a fair price?
Project Details
I am looking to add solar to my home and this is currently my best quote. I'm seeking feedback to determine if the price is fair and close to market value, as my other quotes for similar systems are within +/- $1k. I'm particularly unsure if the $/W calculation typically includes the battery cost. This company quoted $1.91/W for just the panels, but the battery install price seems high, possibly bundling the inverter cost. Critter guard is not included and would be an additional $3,000 from an external vendor. I'm also considering other quotes with Hyundai and Canadian panels, but I'm concerned about their hail resistance, which is important in my area.
